Fishing

My grandfather – Malcolm Clow – was a mad keen fisherman, and could catch fish anywhere. Or so it seemed to me as a child. And whilst my father and brother and I all enjoy fishing, none of us have really taken on legend status yet. So it is that I head of again for another days fishing, this time with Janine and kids. And though I don’t expect a huge haul, I am thankful for the simple things of life!

There are more important things than fishing that can be passed on to ones family while fishing.

Ps. Didn’t get to go fishing!

New Year 2012

So it’s goodbye 2011 and hello 2012!

And what a year it was for the Clow’s; with a new driver in the house, the death of a loved father and grand father Tom Clow, followed closely by the death of Chloe the cat. And on top of that huge changes in another place that carries our passion – church. Great changes mind you! Levelled up our building!!! So its been a year of great grief, challenge, opportunity and preparation for the future.

And now the new year holds great promise. With an awesome wife, great kids, and a loving family and extended family; the future is wide open. And knowing that my Lord and Saviour Jesus has prepared for me good pastures and pleasant wide open spaces, I am content.

My 2012 be a year of great contentment and joy for us all.

Blessings, Carey
